Overview
Architecture of a centralized global discovery platform for the international capoeira community. The project focused on consolidating fragmented event data into an intuitive, scalable interface designed to support both local practitioners and international travelers.

multi
Region Scalability

Problem
Event information was fragmented across multiple platforms, social media and private groups, making discovery difficult for newcomers and traveling practitioners.
Solution
A single, reliable platform to centralize event information and make it accessible across countries, languages and experience levels.
Stages 01 – 03
Low Barrier to Entry
To maximize engagement, core information remains accessible without a sign-up requirement.
Dual-User Support
The interface provides clear hierarchies and consistent layouts to serve both absolute beginners and experienced practitioners.
Scalable Architecture
The platform structure was engineered to accommodate future features, such as organizer profiles and saved events, without disrupting the core discovery flow.

DISCOVERY STRATEGY
Fragmentation Reduction: The design process focused on mapping the fragmented ecosystem of local websites and private groups to create a unified entry point.
Multi-Region Scaling: Database and interface architecture engineered to handle synchronized data across 50+ countries.
Event-First Structure: Events were prioritized as the primary entry point. Filtering by location and date allows for immediate relevance assessment without requiring prior community knowledge.

VISUAL IDENTITY AS SUPPORT
Neutral Visual System: A neutral identity (Burnt Umber, Amber Glow, Ivory Mist) was utilized to support the content rather than dominate it.
International Scalability: The visual language ensures that event information remains the focal point as the platform scales globally.
Technical Achievement
Successfully translated a globally fragmented, non-digital practice into a functional, production-ready digital ecosystem.

Wow, amazing
Status: Product launched to production.
Impact: Successfully delivered a centralized global discovery engine that reduced information fragmentation.
